Free Tax Help

Again this year Millikin University is offering FREE preparation and online filing of state and federal taxes at the Decatur Public Library. The service is offered for families with incomes less than $50,000 and individuals with incomes less than $25,000.
Tax help will be offered on selected Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m., and selected Saturdays 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Note tax service is NOT available the week of March 13-18, or 23 and 30.) Please check our website for specific dates, restrictions, and details on the paperwork you need to bring.
