Adopt a Winter Book Buddy 

Starting Monday, January 4, kids, ages preschool through third grade, can stop by the Children’s Department at the Rodman Main Library to “adopt” a stuffed animal buddy to read to. Buddy bags will include a book buddy, an adoption certificate, a reading log, and several other surprises.

Bags are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, contact the Children’s Department at 330-821-2665 ext. 223.

January "Take and Make" Crafts

Starting, Monday, January 4, stop by the Main Library to pick up "take and make" crafts. Kids can stop by the Children’s Department for a clay snowman craft, and teens, ages 12-18, can stop by the Reference Department for a handmade scrapbook craft. 

All supplies for the crafts will be included as well as step-by-step instructions for constructing the crafts. How-to tutorial video for some of the crafts will also be available to watch via our YouTube channel. Supplies are limited and will be given out at a first come first served basis. Online Teen Writing Club

Creative ideas flowing? Join Rodman Public Library for an online Teen Writing Club that meets on Wednesdays at 3:00 p.m. The next meetings are January 13 and 27.

To participate, teens need to email rodmaninfo@gmail.com with their name, age and Gmail account, and we will send a link to join via Google Meet. Any teen, age 12-18, can join. Have fun meeting virtually with your fellow teen writers to exchange ideas, hone your skills and share your work. 

Teen Book Club

Are you a teen who loves to read? Join Rodman Public Library for the online Teen Book Club that meets on the third Monday of the month at 4:00 p.m.

Before I DisappearThe next meeting will be on January 18 and the selected title will be Before I Disappear by Danielle Stinson. Copies are available at the Main Library, through the SEO catalog, or digitally through the Ohio Digital Library.

Books and Coffee Book Club

Rodman Public Library invites you to join us for our online book club “Books & Coffee.”

The Queen's SecretThe next book club meeting will be on Thursday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. The selected title will be The Queen’s Secret by Karen Harper. Copies are available at the Main and Branch libraries, through the SEO catalog, or digitally through Hoopla.
